Matt gets his first win of the season with a commanding drive to the top spot of the podium, finishing 6 seconds in front of JohnHeavenTerry, followed by Jono on the podium for his first time!
The race was full of incidents, which ended up just leaving the grid with 6 drivers left to cross to the finish line, showing everybody who the cleanest drivers on the grid are, giving best finishing positions to Balkonito, Jono, and D-KAY, Congratulations to you all, and for all who finished the race
Hope to see you all for the last two races of the season, with JohnHeavenTerry just needing 4 points to take the title, can he do it in Brazil!?
The Cleanest driver wins the race, as Rusty was the only driver not picking up a penalty to go along with Commanding drive to the top step of the podium., Followed by JohnHeavenTerry, and a Splendid drive from Bilman who inherited the podium from BasicBoyle since he managed to pick up 21 seconds worth of penalties throughout the whole race.
Apart from that it wasn’t the best of races down to the fact 6 of the drivers didn’t even finish the race, most notably Balkanito who was involved with a lot of incidents in the race, which after the Stewards have decided, he has been given a penalty for the race due to Dangerous and very Unclean driving as well as Mixsois. downgrading Balkanito to 11th and Mixsois to 10th Place, promoting Maldervich to 9th Place.
After coming off from a strong qualifying Rusty claims his second win of the season in a frantic Japanese Grand Prix, this has now moved him ahead of Kyr12 in the Championship leading him by a total of 7 points and closing that gap to JohnHeavenTerry in the process, with 4 races remaining can he close the gap to John?
Penalties Galore in this race down to the fact a lot of people kept exceeding track limits, with more than half the field getting more than 10 seconds in penalties, which also played a big factor in the race win today as John Did cross the line first but had 10 seconds more time penalties than Rusty giving the race win into his hands
A quick few Snippets for the last 4 Races
-The Race for the top 5 is closing up again, with it looking like there is only one space left, which of our remaining drivers will get it?
-Can Kyr12 make the fight back? with dropping down to 3rd it seems as if his title race is all but over, but knowing Kyr hes still got something in the bag and will no doubt fight his best till the end of the season
-Cleanest race of the season with all drivers finishing the race, Nice driving to everybody who took part
Hope to see you all at the Next race in The USA! – DRS Team
Down to a fairly mixed qualifying which started in rainy conditions which was forever drying, this had meant at the end of the session there was a rush to get to the line with little time left at the end of the race, A few of the early runners ended up in the wrong positions meaning they ended up starting from the back, Kyr12 to mention one of those people who was stranded in last place.
It looked to be an exciting race with mixed conditions set for the race, meaning having to start in the rain once more, but it had been shown to be a clear period for the rest of the race so getting the most of the tyres in the first stint proved to be the finishing positions for most people with all the drivers separated by a reasonable gap after the first pitstops.
But there was a few chases near the end, down to the fact everyone had a different strategy, but once again not many changes in places, its one thing to catch someone but to overtake is something else!
The first corner was the biggest mix up with a fair few broken wings, and drivers not being able to judge the braking zone as well, only resulting in two retirements which is one of the better races we’ve had in recent times!
The Gap at the top has now opened once again by 23 points due to the fact Kyr12 Got unlucky in qualifying, with only of couple of races remaining, Can Kyr12 get it together again in order to re close the gap? Or will he be overtaken by the up and coming Rusty?!
Find out Next week at Japan, which is definitely not a driver favorite down to the fact its one of the harder tracks to race on and very unforgiving.
First of all a very hectic race which saw a Strange cross over period between slapping on the slick tyres or sticking to the intermediates, sadly for those who went on softs early, Most of them either went straight into the wall or got lapped by everyone, else on the field who decided to opt for the Intermediate tyres.
Apart from that there was penalties Galore around the field, with everyone getting at least one penalty, with only one driver managing to pick up the minimum of 1 Penalty in Kyr12 Who ironically gained a position from the driver in front of him getting Disqualified for corner cutting.
Onto Kyr12 who has now completely closed that Gap to JohnHeavenTerry with a Strong drive to a podium place in 3rd, He hasn’t given up, and the fight will go down to the last 5 races tied on points.
For those who finished Great racing, it was tough out there and you would of done well to finish!
