After an absolute dominion, the young German driver show all of his skills winning the home gp of Hockenheim. He’s now very close to marvinandroid85, whom he can already overtake in the following gp.
In the meantime, the battle for the title gets more and more interesting, as Spanias only managed a P4, with Curtoise_95 scoring a solid P2.
We are all looking forward to thrilling gps like this one,
The DRS Team
It was Raining at the Hungarian Grand Prix, which meant that all the drivers were going to struggle and overtaking proved to be the hardest challenge on the track by a mile, but it didn’t stop a lot of the drivers as the overtakes were plenty in the midfield.
There were a lot of Collisions and crashes, meaning a lot of people didn’t finish; also, there were lots of penalties thrown out for corner cuts, and crive throughs due to the fact no one could see the white line for the pit entry.
In the end, it was an overall interesting race and the fight at the top of the table extending due to the fact Kr12 had a collision which had lead to a retirement.
After a race permeated, once again, by heavy lag (and heavy rain), the Danish driver, fresh from recruitment in this league (approximately this morning at 9.00), has already won his first GP. This is great news for division 1, who gets a new contender for the future gps.
Like the Division one race, the Division 2 race was also hit with a few disconnections; we had a lot of drivers being kicked out due to game crashes and lag, leaving us with just 10 runners at the end of the race
Two safety cars were deployed during the race, which only helped the soft runners of that race, and made it easy to do a one stop. John’s Race was made easier, however, by the fact that his main rivals were all locked in battles or their tyre strategy didn’t suit or was messed up by the sudden appearance of the safety car.
“Rusty”, one of the new drivres, at one point seemed to have the win in the bad, till him and KR12 collided and gave John the benefit of cruising to the end while everyone else battled.
It has been a race full of great battles further down the gird and some bad tyres wear, and Kyr12 has now lost the lead of the championship by Finishing 5th at the British GP.
Now, over to Hungary, a track totally different from Silverstone and which should prove for a lot more different results. Thank you to all the drivers who took part in the race and we shall see you all soon at Hungary.
After a race unfortunately marked by heavy lag, which caused a great number of unreal incidents, the young German driver finally manages to reach the highest step of the podium after a series of unlucky races where he has certainly deserved more than he got.
Congratulations to him and to everyone for managing to finish the race under such difficult circumstances.
See you in the tight corners of Hungary
The division 2 finnsman wins his first Gp and flies at the top of the league! The duel for the title is already getting interesting in the second division of the DRS.
With the present post, I should like to thank all the drivers that made contributed to making this league happen, for their patience and their support. I wish every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, keep practicing hard as the next GP is in roughly three weeks. Worry not, we will organize practice sessions in the meantime.
After a fair race, where, however, two safety cars were deployed, the McLaren driver manages to get back to the highest step of the podium with a win. Curtoise_95, after an incredible duel with Spanias, was actually the first to reach the finish line, but due to a time penalty he only finished 2nd.
We will all see in January for the British GP,
